COMMUNITY TRUST
Community Guidelines and Expectations
EverDraft is built to be a respectful, encouraging space for writers and readers.
By using EverDraft, visitors and members are expected to conduct themselves with kindness, care, and respect at all times.
Reader Notes and Feedback
Reader Notes are intended to support the writer.
Useful feedback does not need to be empty praise, but it should always be offered with the writer’s growth in mind. Constructive feedback is welcome when it is thoughtful, respectful, and aimed at helping the story become stronger.
EverDraft does not treat constructive feedback as negative. We see it as part of the writing journey — a way for writers to understand what moved readers, what confused them, what sparked curiosity, and what might need more care.
Writer Comfort
Writers may choose whether or not to receive Reader Notes.
If a writer is not open to Notes at a particular time, readers should respect that boundary. Sparks and follows may still be used as gentle encouragement where available.
Not Welcome on EverDraft
EverDraft does not welcome:
- harassment or bullying
- personal attacks
- hateful or discriminatory language
- threats
- sexual or inappropriate messages directed at writers
- spam or scams
- feedback intended to shame, humiliate, or discourage
EverDraft is a place for stories to grow, and for writers to feel safe enough to keep writing.
EverDraft may remove Notes, restrict accounts, or take other action if these expectations are not respected.
